Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how orders placed through VENDOR TOOLS work, including product information, pricing, payment, dispatch, delivery, returns, exchanges and the responsibilities that apply when an order is placed.
Clear information before you place an order
We sell new computer keyboards, mice and related computer peripherals to customers in the UK and Europe. We keep these terms practical and straightforward so you know what happens from the moment you place an order through to dispatch, delivery and any later return or exchange.
About these terms
By using the website or placing an order, you agree to follow these terms together with the information shown on the relevant product page and any other terms specifically applying to your order.
These terms apply to purchases made through the website for products supplied by VENDOR I.T. LIMITED.
If a specific written arrangement confirmed by us for an order differs from a general statement on this page, the confirmed order arrangement will apply to that particular purchase where permitted by applicable law.
Products and product information
We take reasonable care when preparing product descriptions, specifications, images and availability information.
Prices and order totals
Product prices are shown on the website at the time the order is placed. The applicable order total is the amount shown at checkout before the customer confirms the purchase.
- Product prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless the website clearly states another currency.
- Standard delivery is provided without an additional shipping charge for eligible orders.
- The order total shown before confirmation is the amount used for the purchase, subject to correction of an obvious pricing or display error.
- If a clear pricing error is identified before an order is dispatched, we may contact the customer to confirm whether they wish to continue at the correct price or receive a refund for the affected order.
- Any applicable taxes or charges included in the displayed purchase total will be shown during the ordering process where required.
Placing an order
When you place an order, please check the product, quantity, delivery information and total carefully before confirming it.
When an order becomes accepted
Submitting an order through the website does not prevent us from checking product availability, order information and obvious display errors before dispatch.
An order is normally treated as accepted when the order has been confirmed and we have begun preparing it for dispatch, unless we have told you otherwise.
If we cannot fulfil an order for a reasonable reason, we will contact the customer and, where appropriate, arrange a refund for any amount already paid for the affected order.
Payment and order security
Payment must be completed through the payment options made available during checkout.
We do not normally keep complete payment card details on our website. Payment information is handled through the payment service presented during checkout.
Dispatch and delivery
We aim to prepare orders promptly and use tracked delivery for dispatched orders.
Delivery timeframes are normal estimates rather than a promise of delivery at an exact time. Public holidays, transport conditions, carrier processing and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect the actual delivery time.
Delivery information and customer responsibilities
Customers should check their order information before confirming a purchase and should contact us promptly if any detail needs attention.
- Please provide complete and accurate delivery information at checkout.
- Please monitor tracking information once it becomes available.
- If a parcel appears delayed, contact us so we can review the available tracking information.
- If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, photographs of the packaging and product should be taken where reasonably possible.
- Delivery concerns should normally be reported within 48 hours of receipt where reasonably possible so that the matter can be reviewed promptly.
- Missing products or components should normally be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Returns and exchanges
Our Return & Exchange Policy forms part of these terms. It explains the conditions for change-of-mind returns, faulty products, damaged goods, incorrect products and exchanges.
Nothing in these terms is intended to limit any consumer right that applies to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.
Product warranty
Products are supplied as new products and may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty where the relevant product includes one.
Warranty arrangements can vary between products. If a product develops a fault, contact us with the order reference and a description of the issue. We will review the circumstances and explain the available next step.
Any manufacturer’s warranty operates alongside applicable consumer rights and does not replace rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes or cancellation before dispatch
If you need to correct an order or ask us to cancel it before dispatch, contact us as quickly as possible.
We will try to help where the order has not yet entered the dispatch process. Once an order has been prepared or handed to the delivery provider, it may no longer be possible to change the order directly and the normal return process may then apply.
A request to change an order is not confirmed until we have replied and confirmed that the change can be made.
Refunds
Where a refund is approved, we normally return the relevant amount using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Most approved refunds should appear within approximately 5–10 working days after approval. This is a normal estimate and the final timing can depend on the customer’s bank or payment service.
Customer use of products
Products should be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and normal intended purpose.
- Follow the relevant product instructions supplied with the item.
- Do not make internal changes or repairs unless the product documentation specifically permits the relevant procedure.
- Keep included cables, receivers, adapters and other components together with the product where reasonably possible.
- If a product develops an issue, contact us before attempting a repair so that the correct process can be discussed.
Website content
We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and useful. Product descriptions, availability, specifications and other website information may occasionally need to be corrected or updated.
If an obvious mistake is found in a product listing, price or other order information, we may correct the information and contact affected customers where the correction relates to an order already placed.
Website availability may vary from time to time due to maintenance, technical updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Intellectual property
Website text, layouts, product presentation, graphics, logos, images and other original website materials belong to VENDOR I.T. LIMITED or are used with the appropriate permission.
Website content is provided for normal browsing and purchasing purposes. It should not be copied, republished, reproduced or commercially reused without appropriate permission.
Product names, manufacturer names and related product information remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.
Reasonable limitations
We take reasonable care when preparing orders, providing product information and arranging delivery. However, some circumstances are outside our reasonable control.
Important customer protection
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict responsibility where applicable law does not allow that responsibility to be excluded or restricted. These terms should be read together with the rights that apply to the relevant purchase.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the website, products, ordering process or applicable requirements.
The version displayed on the website applies to orders placed after the relevant update, unless a different arrangement is required for an existing order.
If an update materially affects an order that has already been confirmed, the terms applicable to that existing order will continue to be considered according to the circumstances and applicable law.
Contact and customer support
If something does not look right with your order, please get in touch. We would rather have the details and work through the situation with you than leave an order issue unresolved.
Governing law
These terms are intended to operate under the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to the customer based on the relevant purchase and destination.
Where a customer has mandatory rights that cannot be changed by a website term, those rights will continue to apply.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from relying on mandatory rights or protections available to them under applicable law.
